Recorder's Office
Both parties must appear in person at the Recorder's office with proper identification and social security number. Monday-Friday 8:00 am to 4:30 pm (except holidays). The license fee of $51.00 must be paid in Cash or by Debit/Credit Card (there is a convenience fee for card use) at the time of application.

These are teh original certificates of marriage that are returned to the Probate Court by the person who performed the ceremony. The record contains the certificate number and date; contracting parites; date and place of marriage; and name, title, and address of the person performing the ceremony.
